Welcome to Our Practice
May we extend a warm welcome to our practice.
We take great pride in the quality of our dentistry and wish to make your visits a pleasant experience. Our aim is good dental health for you and your family through preventive dentistry. That means offering regular dental advice and helping you understand how to care for your teeth yourself, reducing the need for dental treatment.
You will find your comments and questions are always welcome and we will be pleased to discuss your individual needs at any time.
This website will answer some basic questions, however, please do not hesitate to ask if you would like any additional information.
Our ServicesDental Care
It is estimated that despite the importance of dental health, half of the population do not visit a dentist regularly. Irregular dental visits often result in more expensive dental treatment. Regular check ups help cut down problems - and bills!
We employ dental hygienists who are trained in all aspects of dental care, including scaling and polishing teeth, and will provide advice on promoting good dental health.Cosmetic Dentistry
If any aspect of your dental appearance concerns you, no matter how trivial it may seem, please discuss it with us. A full range of cosmetic treatment can be provided at this practice; crowns, bridges, veneers and tooth - coloured fillings and teeth bleaching to give you the smile you want.
Some people feel a deep-seated anxiety about dentistry. We understand. Please discuss your fears with us and we will do everything we can to help.Home Visits
Special arrangements can be made to provide home visits for patients who are very sick or disabled.Appointments
We always try to see patients at the appointed time. Please be patient. If you have to cancel an appointment, we require, whenever possible, twenty-four hours notice. This enables us to make alternative arrangements - perhaps to see someone in pain. There may be a charge for appointments broken without notice.
If you are in pain during surgery hours, please telephone and every effort will be made to see you as soon as possible. If you are in pain outside surgery hours, telephone one of our emergency numbers. If you need to see a dentist, arrangements will be made, although not necessarily at this practice. If we arrange to see you out of normal hours, it may be necessary for you to be accompanied.Protection
As a caring practice, we take all necessary precautions to safeguard both patients and staff against blood-borne infections. We follow recommended guidelines with regards to the sterilisation of instruments and the use of disposable items.
